Sehr & Iftar Distribution

Sehr & Iftar Distribution

This program is Baitussalam's primary initiative during the holy month of Ramadan, ensuring that the most vulnerable Muslims can observe their fasts with dignity and nourishment. It provides meticulously prepared, hot meals for both the pre-dawn (Sehr) and sunset (Iftar) meals.

Key Impact and Reach:

  • 125,000 Beneficiaries: This program annually serves cooked meals to 125,000 individuals, ensuring a blessed Ramadan for families facing acute food insecurity.
  • A Continuous Effort: Beyond Pakistan, this program is a vital part of the humanitarian aid extended to crisis-affected populations, including Syrian and Rohingya refugees in border camps and various parts of the world.
  • Meeting a Critical Need: For people in extremely impoverished communities, the daily provision of Sehri and Iftar meals removes the burden of finding food and allows them to focus on the spiritual rewards of fasting.

Operational Excellence:

  • Centralized Kitchens: The meals are prepared in dedicated, large-scale kitchens under strict quality control to ensure they are nutritious, fresh, and comply with Islamic dietary standards.
  • Strategic Distribution: Baitussalam utilizes a widespread network of volunteers and distribution points across major cities and remote areas of Pakistan (including locations like Skardu, Mansehra, and Quetta) to deliver cooked food to areas where poverty is most concentrated.
  • Focus on the Destitute: Priority is given to individuals who cannot work due to age, disability, or circumstance, such as widows, orphans, and the critically ill, ensuring the aid reaches those who need it most.

Your Donation Can Provide: A single contribution ensures a deserving person or family is fully nourished for both Sehri and Iftar throughout the day, transforming a month of hardship into a period of devotion.
